Is Oaro Dermatology Clinic in Apgujeong or Cheongdam?
Both names describe the same neighbourhood. The clinic is on the 8th floor of Cheongdam Tower, 327 Dosan-daero in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam-gu, about eight minutes on foot from Apgujeong Rodeo Station and a short taxi ride from Sinsa or Apgujeong stations.
Are the doctors board-certified dermatologists?
Yes. Dr. Chang-hyun Kim and Dr. Ji-ho Park are dermatology specialists certified by the Korean Ministry of Health and Welfare. In Korea, only clinics led by such specialists may use the title “피부과” (dermatology) in their name.
Do you speak English?
Consultations are led by the dermatologist with English-speaking coordination for international patients. Quotes, receipts and aftercare instructions are provided in English on request.
How much does a consultation cost?
A first consultation with skin examination typically ranges from ₩30,000 to ₩50,000 for self-paying visitors and is often credited toward treatment on the same day. Korean National Health Insurance may apply to covered medical conditions for insured residents.
Can I have treatment on the same day as the consultation?
Often, yes, for treatments with little or no downtime such as skin boosters, toxin, Pico toning or Aquapeel. Lifting treatments like Ultherapy and Thermage FLX are usually scheduled after the plan is agreed, and can frequently be done the same day if time allows.
